Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) Dharamsala announces admission cum tuition concession for 25 Tibetan youths to apply for admission at Tibetan Insitute of Performing Arts

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Age: Not more than 20 years old
  • Height: 4.10 ft to 5.5 ft (not more than)
  • Copy of Class VIII passed certificate
  • Copy of having fully paid Chatrel contribution
  • Medical Fitness Certificate from a Physician
  • Pronunciation and pleasant Voice

Total No. of Intake: Boys: 10 & Girls: 15

Guidelines:

  1. After successful completion of three years of training in Tibetan Dance, Song & Opera, the student will be selected for probationary TIPA member or member of performing troupe through entrance test
  2. The individual student has to pay for the medical expenses during the three years training
  3. All the certificates and documents have to be attested by the concerned local Settlement Officer

Eligibility:

• The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 to 22 years on or before the first day of the month, of the year of admission i.e. 31st December 2015 respectively. If reserved seats are not filled, it will go to general category.

Mode of Entrance Test:

Candidates must apply in the prescribed form. Prospectus along with application form can be availed by the following methods:

  2. Download the application form  & the Admit Card from the website. Duly filled downloaded application form should be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs. 900/- in favour of St. Stephen's Hospital, Delhi. The name, address and phone number of the applicant should be clearly mentioned on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

The application form for admission to the GNM course is to be completed in the candidate's own handwriting.

Application forms incomplete or not submitted on the prescribed forms or without demand draft in case of downloaded forms & those reaching the College of Nursing Office after the last date due to postal delay or otherwise shall not be entertained, and will be rejected.

The Application form and the admit should be filled in all respects and submitted with attested copies of the documents  to reach the Principal, St. Stephen's Hospital College of Nursing, St. Stephen's Hospital, Tis Hazari, Delhi - 110054 at or before 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 30th June, 2015.

Documents to be submitted:

  • Filled in Admit Card.
  • Three recent identical passport size photographs of the candidate. One photograph must be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer after being pasted on the Application Form and the remaining two photographs must be pasted on the Admit Card in the space provided.
  • All the following documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

The Admit card will be disptached to all eligible candidates before the Admission Written Test. No candidate shall be admitted to the Admission Written Test without the Admit Card.

Mode of Selection:

  • Candidates who are found eligible on preliminary scrutiny of applications & other documents will be called for an Admission Written Test.
  • The admission Written Test consists of multiple choice questions with four common sections that are to be attempted by all candidates. These are:

            C. English

            D. Science

 Application & Selection Procedure:

To apply for any of the courses, you will need the Application Form that is included with this Prospectus as Annexure - III.

  • The schedule for application is given in Annexure-II to the Prospectus. This must be strictly adhered to. Applications that are received after the last date for submission will be rejected.
  • You can apply for 1 course using an Application Form. Three Application Forms are enclosed with each Prospectus. To apply for more than 3 courses, you are required to purchase another set of Prospectus and Application Forms.
  • The Application Form should be supported by photocopies of all relevant mark-sheets and certificates. (If called for interview, the corresponding original documents need to be produced.)
  • Candidates are required to affix a recent copy of their passport-size photograph on the Application Form and include another copy of the same photograph with their name and Application Form Number written on the reverse. Candidates are advised, in their own interest, not to significantly change their appearance from what appears in the photograph.
  • For sponsored candidates, the Sponsorship Letter from the sponsoring bodies must reach "The Director, St. Stephen's Hospital, Tis Hazari, Delhi - 110 054" before or on the last date as mentioned in Annexure-II. (Please see the Requirements for Sponsorship section later in this Unit for details.)

Section E on Physics has to be attempted by candidates who have applied for the Radiodiagnosis Technology course.
Section F on Mental Ability has to be attempted by candidates who have applied for the Medical Record Technology course.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates is done in a 3-stage process that comprises a written test, interview and medical examination.
