Name of Examination: Karnataka CET (Common Entrance Test)

Conducted by: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)

Required for: Admission into Engineering, Dental, Medical colleges

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates should have Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer-Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the language.
  • Candidates should have 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects to appear.

How to Apply:

  • Candidates who meet the meeting eligibility criteria to appear KCET can apply online for this exam
  • Candidates can get the application forms from their concerned colleges of Karnataka.
  • They should affix their left hand thumb impression with the KCET Application Form.
  • Candidates should fill all the required details in this form and should submit it to the principal of their Colleges
  • Once submitting, candidates must collect their KCET
  • Fees for general category is Rs. 650 and for SC, ST and OBC is Rs. 500.
  • Application Fee can be paid either by Cash or through Net Banking.
  • Applicants staying outside the Karnataka State including the Gadinadu and Horanadu applicants will have to first submit the form fee for KCET via NEFT transaction, then they will be sent the forms and brochure via email.

Test Centers: 50 places in the entire Karnataka Region.
